Peperami has brought back its brand character ‘Animal’ to stand out in a crowded field as it seeks to broaden its appeal.
Peperami is a brand many British consumers of a certain age might associate with lunchboxes or an afterschool snack, but the business wants to make its products relevant to more consumers on more occasions as it brings back its brand mascot.
Emily Prince, head of brand for Peperami at parent company Jack Link’s, says the business is looking to increase “the relevance of the brand to adults”.
