Of all the words workers might fear, restructure is probably quite high on the list. But for marketers, it seems to be becoming an expected part of working life.
Almost half of marketing teams (46.5%) restructured in the last 12 months, according to Marketing Week’s 2024 Career & Salary Survey. This is a five percentage point increase on the figure revealed in 2023, which saw 41.4% of teams change shape versus the previous year – a hefty wedge.
