How England Rugby is investing in marketing to grow the girls’ game
England Rugby has launched a long-term brand platform in the hopes of doubling participation in rugby union for girls aged nine to 18.
With the Six Nations around the corner and the women’s Rugby World Cup taking place on home soil in 2025, England Rugby is upping its marketing investment to “supercharge” grassroots participation in the girls’ game.
The campaign, ‘Love Rugby’, developed with creative agency Matta, follows the launch of England Rugby’s ‘Every Rose’ strategy, which since 2021 has aimed to grow participation in the women’s game and support the national side, known as the Red Roses.
