For Dominic Grounsell, his career has been laser-focused on reaching the C-suite, and the decisions he made to jump industries and constantly challenge himself comes from two bits of advice that stuck with him. The first, a personal mantra that “smooth seas don’t make skilful sailors”, or to put it another way, “the more your back is against the wall, the more you learn”.
