One challenger healthcare brand on bringing a category ‘for the few’ to the masses
Created in just a few short months, Wellsoon is a challenger private healthcare brand that is aiming to open a category that many still feel isn’t affordable to them and tackle NHS waiting lists.
It is perhaps fitting that a brand which was set-up to provide a speedy alternative to NHS waiting lists was itself created in as little as a few short months.
This is the reality for private healthcare provider Wellsoon, a sub-brand of Practice Plus Group, which is itself an independent healthcare provider that predominantly works with outsourced NHS patients. Its first CMO Alyson Lockley was brought in to provide marketing expertise for the entire organisation but, in particular, to help them build its private offering in light of the continuing crisis with NHS waiting lists.
