For Specsavers’ new UK marketing boss, the retailer’s team has been long overdue a shake up. Busy navigating the challenges of an expanding business and the Covid-19 pandemic, the structure of the marketing organisation hadn’t been reviewed in some time, and cracks were beginning to show.
However, with the business now in a strong position after reporting record sales for 2021, a significant restructure is underway.
